Korean-American filmmaker Andrew Ahn is finding his feet in the industry after his debut feature Spa Night showed at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

The film tells the tale of a Korean-American's coming-out experience amid Los Angeles' 'spa underworld', with its star Joe Seo picking up the Special Jury Award. Ahn's film received a Sundance Institute Cinereach Feature Film Fellow grant, Panavision New Filmmaker grant, and FilmLA grant, and managed to raise over $62k on Kickstarter to fund production. After signing with top US agency ICM Partners, Ahn now looks to build on the success of his first feature release.
